I'm BAAACCCKKK
.
Well, I've been back for a while now... but seems like things are quite hectic since I've been back. I also feel really tired. I'd love to sleep in one day... but can't seem to do that. LOL.
But anyways, I shared about my NY Trip on Sunday, so I'm not really going to go into detail about that. I did experience the Lord a lot there. First of all, I got more time to DNG... which was great! They didn't have very good parks over there though... at least not in Brooklyn.

Knock Knock
Hi sisters!
I'm COMPLETELY amazed that I have access to blogger at work. Hotmail they ban... but this they don't? How strange! :)
Anyway, this whole month of April has been an emotional rollercoaster for me. I think the Lord's message: "Draw close to Me" has been with me this whole year. I remembered the Lord telling me this when I started year 2011. 2010 was also a pretty tough year, especially the first half of it, but I find that things get "harder" as I get older. But, I've really realized that even when things are harder, I am drawing closer and closer to God. THAT is how the fact that God gives us what we can stand stays true. Sometimes we forsee the future and think: How in the world am I ever going to be ready for that mountain up ahead? Sometimes we look and we see our current mountain to climb... and taht is ALL we see. Then we get to the hump of the mountain and we see ahead to the other mountains. BOY... they get harder. But from peak to peak, His presence is constant. We know God more and more... and that's where our strength for the next mountain comes from. Without God, I am/have nothing!
Something I gained very recently while reading the end of the book of John. Fix my eyes on Him. Simple phrase, heard it before - never fully experienced the importance of it until now. I focus too much on my problems/struggles/failures - it kills my faith and it distances me from Him. There's a song that I really liked by this Korean Christian singer. Lyrics below. I don't want to look at the storms and the waves ahead of me, or the mountains to climb. I want to look up and smile and know that He is there... waiting with His open arms for me to embrace Him and walk with me on the water. :)
Walk on Water

I lookbut nothing here
This searching of what I am becoming isn’t clear
But You never give me up
All my failures and all the mess I make
Can never separate me from the love You give
Your plan has no mistakes
I hear Your voice,
And that’s enough for me to rise again
I will rejoice, in perfect strength I gain
Even through the storms and crashing waves
The goodness of my God will keep me safe
So I’m taking steps on the water
For Your hand is holding me
Every move I make will testifyYour miracles that none can deny
So I’m taking steps on the water
I no longer am afraid
You are with me
Jesus, You wipe the tears away
Now I see it’s a brand new day
Jesus, You are the only way
I’ll trust and obey
