i just wanted to give thanks to all bro/sis for their continual prayers for my mom and my family.

the past few days, i really notice that my mom has more energy, although her breathing is still not at its best, but seeing that she's awake and pretty responsive makes me happy. also for my aunt, it was nice to visit her and chat with her, i admire her faith in Jesus. oh yea if some have not heard yet, she believed in God at the nursing home. she's been praying a lot for my mom, trusting that Jesus will help her get better. so yea anyways, i just wanted to briefly update you on my situation and give a whole lotta thanks to Jesus for His continuous support, love and care for my mom and family.
Please continue to pray for my mom so that her breathing can be back to normal and that her overall health is good. i would love to hear her speak again and for her to get out of the hospital and meet bro/sis :)

Thanks ALL!!
love you muchos :)

Knock Knock

Hi sisters!

I'm COMPLETELY amazed that I have access to blogger at work. Hotmail they ban... but this they don't? How strange! :)

Anyway, this whole month of April has been an emotional rollercoaster for me. I think the Lord's message: "Draw close to Me" has been with me this whole year. I remembered the Lord telling me this when I started year 2011. 2010 was also a pretty tough year, especially the first half of it, but I find that things get "harder" as I get older. But, I've really realized that even when things are harder, I am drawing closer and closer to God. THAT is how the fact that God gives us what we can stand stays true. Sometimes we forsee the future and think: How in the world am I ever going to be ready for that mountain up ahead? Sometimes we look and we see our current mountain to climb... and taht is ALL we see. Then we get to the hump of the mountain and we see ahead to the other mountains. BOY... they get harder. But from peak to peak, His presence is constant. We know God more and more... and that's where our strength for the next mountain comes from. Without God, I am/have nothing!

Something I gained very recently while reading the end of the book of John. Fix my eyes on Him. Simple phrase, heard it before - never fully experienced the importance of it until now. I focus too much on my problems/struggles/failures - it kills my faith and it distances me from Him. There's a song that I really liked by this Korean Christian singer. Lyrics below. I don't want to look at the storms and the waves ahead of me, or the mountains to climb. I want to look up and smile and know that He is there... waiting with His open arms for me to embrace Him and walk with me on the water. :)

Walk on Water

Unanswered questions
I lookbut nothing here
This searching of what I am becoming isn’t clear
But You never give me up

All my failures and all the mess I make
Can never separate me from the love You give
Your plan has no mistakes
I hear Your voice,
And that’s enough for me to rise again
I will rejoice, in perfect strength I gain

Even through the storms and crashing waves
The goodness of my God will keep me safe
So I’m taking steps on the water
For Your hand is holding me
Every move I make will testifyYour miracles that none can deny
So I’m taking steps on the water
I no longer am afraid
You are with me

Jesus, You wipe the tears away
Now I see it’s a brand new day
Jesus, You are the only way
I’ll trust and obey

please pray for my mom. her condition is worsening, but i still have all my hope and trust that the Lord will give the best. I really really want her to recover so that she can go to church and learn more about Jesus.
But i'm still really thankful that she accepted Jesus as her saviour. Please pray for me, so that the upcoming days when i visit her during my lunch break, i can continue to talk to her, let her know the truths, let her feel the love from God and from myself. Please pray that the Lord give me strength to share everything i want to let her know. i know i will cry... but i need the strength and faith to keep letting her know that Jesus holds all authority, that when this life ends, it's not the end, that one day we will meet again.

thank you.

hey sisters,

awesome news, just wanted to share: today my mom believed in God!!!! =D she did the prayers with me =D!!

dunno if i wrote/said before but i made her a lil photo book with our family photos in it along with viet bible verses, and in it i wrote a lil msg to her saying how i really want her to accept Jesus in her life and how He can give her hope, peace, love, joy etc and how He has given me all these, and that He loves her so much because He has saved me so He can save her. at the end i put the prayers in there.

Quick Blog: Mission Possible!

With four assignments due in one week, all assigned at the same time I stumbled and thought to myself, "how on Earth can I possibly do four assignments all due at the same time? How can I manage my time like this with research, outlines, more research, then the paper..." The due date is nearing in and I only have a few days to finish. The work is about half-way through to completion--this is impossible. I'll have to hand something in late at least. I can't do this. I can't. I want to give up! I want to give up!
