The infinite one became limited for me, He came so that He could be the closest to me. He gave up all the glories in Heaven, He left His comfort zone, He joyfully came to seek me, to save me, and to bring me back to the Father. <3 :) hi sisters, i slept early on xmas eve, like at 8/9pm, so now i'm like 3 hrs ahead of my normal waking up time lol i really have to give thanks for today, it's a special day :) i dunno what to say, but i really feel His special presence with me this special morning :) anyways, just wanted to share about yesterday, i let my parents know about our xmas gospel party and dinner, i know i know... very last minute.. i'm like that usually lol >.>
when i got home, my mom says she and my bro will be coming! :D i was shocked a bit and happy, but honestly i also felt a bit weird and how it'd be kind of awkward lol... for me and them ... and then i was overcome with this feeling where.. hmm maybe they shouldn't come..............i don't know why, i thought about it more this morning when i woke up. i guess, the fact that they don't know chinese too well and the fact that they are viet kind of makes me feel a bit worried that they won't understand or they won't fit in to this family... but the Lord really reminded me today that this family that He found and brought together is not made up of perfect people, neither are they all the same, but every one is special and important in their way.
so i guess, i felt more comforted by that knowledge. i did my part in inviting my family, i trust that God will do His work in them. i know bro/sis will help make them feel more comfortable too, so i won't worry too much. :)
i entrust my mom and bro into God's hand, i know He will take care of them.
I just wish that my dad is coming too... he knows about it, but does not really want to go i heard... i will ask him again today, try and convince him. hope my whole family can go, this is my christmas wish this year. i haven't gotten them any gifts yet, i did want to, and probably will... eventually. but i guess my first gift to them would be this invitation to know more about this special day, the day our Saviour came to find us, to reveal His love to us. i just hope they'll be able to feel and see this day as special as i do. :)
merry christmas sisters!!!!
God is sooooooooo good to us! <3
